CROCKETT, AUDREY – It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Audrey Crockett of Fonthill on March 31, 2014 in her 87th year. Loving mother of Judy MacLeod and Brian (Marie). Cherished grandmother to Melody Vahrmeyer (Ron), Stuart MacLeod (Cindy), Lisa MacLeod (Domenic), Dale Matzkow (Brian), Tom MacLeod (Lori), Kim MacLeod (Frank) and David Crockett (Maya). Proud Nana to great grandchildren Ries, Carter, Max, Devon, Jake, Tommy, Stephen, Tricia, Matthew, Tyler, Megan, Christopher and Sarah. Audrey is survived by her brother Russell Neale (Helen). Predeceased by her husband Otis, sister Ruth Crockett and son in law Boyne MacLeod. Audrey always encouraged, supported, and motivated us to be a better person. Her greatest treasure was her family. She will be sadly missed by her cherished friends at Pelham Town Square. Respecting Audrey’s wishes Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 4th at 11:00 A.M., at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick. Visiting Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Dear father of Pam, Mark and Miles (Cheryl). Grandfather to Aaron, Joseph, Hanna and Kayla. Howard is survived by his sisters Fay McIntee and Nelda Cook and his brother Carl (Heather). Predeceased by his parents Charles and Bertha. The Funeral Service will be held at the Boyle Brethren In Christ Church on Thursday March 20th at 11:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. MISENER – SWAYZE, ROSETTA MAUDE (nee KELLY) – passed away at Cedarwood Village Retirement Home in Simcoe on March 6, 2014 in her 93rd year. Rosie was the loving wife of the late James Misener and Glen Swayze. She is survived by her best friend and caregiver Kenneth Harrison, and by her step children Donna Schaeffer and Glenna Prokapp (John), and her sister in law Donna Kelly. She will be sadly missed by many step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Rosie was a long time employee at Wabasso in Dunnville from 1941 – 1982, and a long standing member of the Rebecca Lodge, Welland. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick on Saturday March 15th at 11:00 A.M. Interment of Ashes at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

SIDER, SHIRLEY (HARRISON) – passed away peacefully at Oakwood Park Lodge in Niagara Falls on February 27, 2014 in her 82nd year. She will be forever missed by her loving children Jo-Anne and Dan Tripkovic, Judy and Mark McDougall, Rory Hamilton (Carol), Kenny Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton Jr. (Predeceased). Loving grandmother of her grandchildren Jenny McCarthy, Shaun and Chelsey Filion, Blake Tripkovic, Tyler and Lacey Tripkovic, Shelley, Chrystal, Samantha, Miranda, Mandy, Tammy, and Kenny Jr. Great grandmother to Cierra McCarthy, Kiana McCarthy, Riley Filion and Alexa Filion. Missed by sister in law Ilene Harrison and niece Joan Robertson. Predeceased by her sisters Maude Young and May Hercanuck and brothers Ernie, Doug and Lenny Harrison, as well as her parents Harry and Florence Harrison. As per Shirley’s wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be planned at a later date. Sincere appreciation to the care given at Oakwood Park Lodge and a special thanks to her caregiver Frannie for all her love. Her spirit will live on forever in our hearts.

Passed away peacefully in her 87th year on February 23, 2014 at Welland Extended Care. Beloved wife of Harold Griffin for 61 years. Cherished mother of Gloria Griffin, Paul Griffin (Jackie), Sharon Holbein (Bruce), Nancy Voorberg (Sam) and Pamela Griffin (Dennis, predeceased). Beloved grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Marion Disher and brother Donald Emerson. Marie was born in Dunnville and lived in Fenwick for most of her life and then at Wesley Robins, Welland. Marie will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She loved her family, music (piano and organ), and her garden. She was an active member of Fenwick United Church (UCW and choir) and the Rebecca Lodge. Marie had an enduring faith and is now with the Lord. Friends and family will be received at LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME , 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick on Wednesday February 26 from 7-9 P.M. The Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 27 at 10:30 A.M. at Fenwick United Church, 1050 Church St., Fenwick .
