WILLIAMS, IAN – at the Welland County General Hospital on Tuesday February 11, 2014, Ian Williams of Fenwick in his 67th year.  Loving husband to Pat.  Dear father of Nicki Williams.  Loving Gaga to Shelby.  Ian will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents Richard and Eileen Williams and his brothers Brian and Arthur.  Respecting Ian’s wishes, Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 15, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick.  Interment of Ashes at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

GORDON, RETA AUGUSTA – at the Welland County General Hospital on Wednesday February 5, 2014, Reta Gordon of Welland in her 84th year.  Loving wife to Nathan.  Dear mother of Dale Metcalfe, Nadine Nuxoll, and Noreen Gallagher (Ed).  Dear grandmother to eight and great grandmother to ten.  Predeceased by her sons Randy, Kevin, and son in law Bob Metcalfe.  Cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held on Monday February 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Tabernacle Church in Welland.  Visitation one hour prior to Service at the Church.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society or  Welland Hospital Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.

BARTELS, CLARENCE (KLAAS) – The Lord in his infinite wisdom after a brief illness took unto himself Clarence Bartels of Wellandport at Shalom Manor in Grimsby in his 85th year.  Loving father of Ben and John Bartels of Wellandport.  Clarence is survived by his brother John (Tina) of Smithville and his sister Diny Vanderhout (Tony) of Binbrook.  Also survived by brothers and sisters in law in The Netherlands.  Predeceased by his wife Diane (2005).  Resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick for Visitation on Tuesday February 4th from 7-9 P.M.  The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 5th at 11:00 A.M. at the Dunnville Canadian Reformed Church.  The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Shalom Manor.

LINDA LORRAINE RUTLEDGE

RUTLEDGE, LINDA LORRAINE – passed away on Sunday February 2, 2014 surrounded by her family.  Devoted wife of Allan Rutledge.  Loving mother of Amanda Oblinsky and her husband Ron.  Adored grandmother of Samuel and Magdalene.  Step grandmother to Jayce Oblinsky.  Linda was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Annie George, her brothers James Spalding, Lloyed George, Edgar Manns and her sisters Ruby Parker and Mary Disher.  She is survived by her sisters Anne McGill and Winnie Weller.  There will be no Visitation.  The Funeral Service will be held at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick on Tuesday February 4th at 10:00 A.M.  Interment at Hillside Cemetery in Ridgeville to follow.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

RICK DUNCAN BEGIN

BEGIN,  RICK DUNCAN – suddenly on Monday January 27, 2014, Rick Begin of Ridgeville in his 60th year.  Loving husband to Tammy.  Dear father of Erica Taylor (Matthew) and Bob Begin.  Loving grandfather to Mackenzie and Abigail.  Rick is survived by his sister Cathy Haggarty (Gerry) and his brother David (Robin), his father in law Jack Leadley (late Winnie), and his step mother Theresa Begin.  Dear brother in law to Sue and Russ Dobell.  Rick will be missed by his nieces Alex, Rachel and Jordan and nephews Mark and Jeremy.  Predeceased by his parents Robert and Beverley Begin.  Resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick for Funeral Service in the LAMPMAN CHAPEL on Friday January 31st at 10:00 A.M.  Interment at Lane Cemetery in St. Anns to follow.  The family will receive friends on Thursday January 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.  Donations to the Arthritis Society or Alyssa McLintock Trust Fund.

JEAN MARGUERITE (DABOLL) WELSH

Jean Marguerite (Daboll) Welsh May 13th, 1927

Mom left us peacefully at her residence at Shorthills Retirement Villa in Fonthill January 13th, 2014 aged 86.

She taught us how to live, and through physically challenging times brought optimism, joy, courage and humour to each day.  Mom was a gift to all who loved and cared for her, enriching everyone who knew her.

Special thanks to her wonderful caregivers at Shorthills and her nurses from St. Elizabeths.

She was predeceased by her loving husband George and son Barry.

Dear mom of John, Brian & his wife Leigh, Kathy Glavac & her Brian Tighe.  She was a very proud Grandma of Alicia and her husband Chris Caskie, Andrea and her Luca, Erin, Daley and his wife Alicia and Great Grandaughter Evie.

Visitation will be held at LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road in Fenwick on Friday the 24th of January from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm.  A Memorial Service in her honour will be held on Saturday January 25th at 11:00am at North Pelham Presbyterian Church, 602 Metler Road in North Pelham.  Interment at a later date.

If you wish, memorial donations can be made to Pelham Cares in Mom’s memory.
