CROCKETT, AUDREY – It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Audrey Crockett of Fonthill on March 31, 2014 in her 87th year. Loving mother of Judy MacLeod and Brian (Marie). Cherished grandmother to Melody Vahrmeyer (Ron), Stuart MacLeod (Cindy), Lisa MacLeod (Domenic), Dale Matzkow (Brian), Tom MacLeod (Lori), Kim MacLeod (Frank) and David Crockett (Maya). Proud Nana to great grandchildren Ries, Carter, Max, Devon, Jake, Tommy, Stephen, Tricia, Matthew, Tyler, Megan, Christopher and Sarah. Audrey is survived by her brother Russell Neale (Helen). Predeceased by her husband Otis, sister Ruth Crockett and son in law Boyne MacLeod. Audrey always encouraged, supported, and motivated us to be a better person. Her greatest treasure was her family. She will be sadly missed by her cherished friends at Pelham Town Square. Respecting Audrey’s wishes Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 4th at 11:00 A.M., at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick. Visiting Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
We only met Audrey once and we took an instant likening to her. The love afforded her by her entire clan could be seen immediately and was awe inspiring.
