  • Mary Ann and fammily our sincere condolences from friends Mike and Marj. Bob will be missed tremendously for his humour and frienship at the market and his tice rd stand. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  • It was with sadness that we learned of the passing of Bob. While we didn’t have recent contact, it was always a pleasure to be able to serve the Hicks family and their health needs from Laing Pharmacy for many years. I played oldtimers hockey with Bob on Sunday nights and have many good memories of the outdoor rink in what is now called Marlene Stewart Park. When the new arena was built, we carried on with many of the same players. Pat always enjoyed having her meat market needs looked after by Bob when he was at Klagers. Our thoughts go out to Mary Ann and family at this time. Bob will be missed but not forgotten because of the many pleasant memories he helped create.

I was so sorry to hear of Bobs Passing. He meant so much to so many. Among the many things Bob meant to me it was how much fun we would have at work. From making the round on christmas eve after the store closed (just for one drink) to playing the harmless tricks on anyone as our days worked on. We had many laughs together and he was a dear friend who I admired greatly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  • My sympathies on Bob’s passing. His humour and ‘dry wit’ will be missed.

We will cherish the memories – we miss the Hicks’ family at the market.
