With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Shirley on Sunday, October 6th, 2024 at the Welland Hospital in her 89th year. Loving mother of Debbie (Terry) Mikolasek. Devoted grandmother of Greg and Kristina Stanley and Erin and Ryan Nery. Great-grandmother of Kapri, Tia and Lincoln. Shirley is survived by her sister Sharon Wright and nephews Chris and Tammy (Emma and Kaylie) and Craig and Amy (Alexis and Jordan). Shirl will be sadly missed by her long-time friends Adele Bourne and Marion Hoover. Shirl was predeceased by her devoted husband Robert (2020). Respecting Shirl’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. To quote Frank Sinatra, “I did it my way” and she sure did!!
