Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Welland Hospital on Tuesday January 14, 2020 in her 87th year, Joyce will be sadly missed by her sister Margaret Moores and sister in law June Bruce .Also by many nieces and nephews.  A private family service will be held at a later date. Passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2020 at Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie in his 96th year. Loving father of Ralph ,Louise Robins and Tim. Dear Grandfather to James, Chris, Rebecca and James. Predeceased by his wife Velma (1991). Harry will be sadly missed by family and friends. Resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick for funeral service in the Lampman Chapel on Friday January 17th at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Zion Cemetery in Wainfleet to follow. Visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M.

ORVEA MCPHERSON

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Orvea McPherson at the age of 93.  Beloved mother of Ken (Carol), Gary (Sandra) and Richard. Cherished grandmother of Brandon (Alana). Loving great-grandmother to Destiny, Ezra, and Layla. In accordance with Orvea’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations made to the Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Liam on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 17.  He will be sadly missed by his loving parents Jodie and Jeff. He is the adored brother to Mya, cherished boyfriend of Hope and special buddy to his furry friends Cole and Rocky.  Precious grandson of Rick and Bonnie Kozarichuk and Nancy Boverhof. He will be forever remembered by all his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and his many friends. Liam is predeceased by his grandparents Joanne and John Boverhof.

On Saturday October 12, 2019, the Lord called to Himself our precious son Daniel. For 21 years we were blessed with the privilege to raise our Lord’s child. Daniel will be dearly missed by his parents Ken and Dana. Also by his siblings Joshua (Allison), Caleb (Sylvia), Jacob, Nathaniel, Kendra and Ben. Daniel will be sadly missed by his grandparents Henry and Margaret Huizinga, David and Donna Phair and Simon and Lois Pols. Along with many aunts and uncles, niece, nephews and cousins. Visitation will take place on Thursday October 17th at the Wellandport United Reformed Church from 1-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at the church on Friday October 18th at 11:00am. Private interment will take place prior to the service. If you have any stories, pictures, mementos of our beautiful son Dan, please bring them with you if you come to the visitation. Passed away on Sunday October 6, 2019, 8 days before her 104th birthday. Predeceased by her husband Clive on June 1, 1980 and her grandson Edwin on August 4, 1993. Beloved mother to Peter (Dona) and Jim (Sandy). Grandmother to David (Monica), Rob (the late Joanne), Lauren (Scott), Brian, Michael (Melinda), Christopher, Jenna and Ashley (James). Great Grandmother to Mitchell, Emma, Aerial, Nelaya, Samuel, Ella, Amber, Gordie, Thomas, Hunter and Ashton. Evelyn and her husband Clive owned and operated Jeffs Drug Store at 95 Niagara Street, St.Catharines for many years. Visitation will be held at Lampmans Funeral Home 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick on Tuesday October 8th from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The service will be held at Lampman Funeral Home on Wednesday October 9th at 11:00 A.M. with friends being received from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:A.M. After the service friends and family are welcome to join us for a luncheon at the Fenwick United church at 1050 Church Street. Private interment will follow. Instead of flowers memorial donations can be made to the charity of ones choice. The family extends their gratitude to Dr.Dooler, the VONs, Paramed nurses, Visiting Angels and Shorthills Villa PSWs for their compassionate care.

Passed away at St.Catharines General Hospital on Saturday September 14, 2019 in her 80th year. Loving mother of Paul, Peter (Vikkie), Angela Jervis (Jim) and Julia Ogrady (Mark). Dear Grandmother to Bella, Emma, Olivia, Mitchell, Jessica, Adrian and Jenny. Gena is survived by her sister Helen Lubas. Predeceased by her husband Adriano and her brothers Walter, John and Joseph Barron. Resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick for visitation on Tuesday September 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Vigil Prayers will be held at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday September 18th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church in Fenwick. Cremation to follow.

RAYMOND KARDAS

Raymond Michael Kardas resident of Grand Prairie, Alberta, formerly of Fenwick, Ontario passed away suddenly on Thursday August 22nd at the age of 66. Ray was born and raised in Fenwick. For the past 38 years Ray taught Physical Education courses at GPRC in Grand Prairie, Alberta. Ray held a masters degree in both PE and Religious Studies. He attended St. Thomas U, U Ottawa and McGill U. Ray was a man of fire. His passion whether positive or negative was always apparent. He loved nature and in particular birds. He could often be seen through the window joyfully chatting with the birds. Ray was a very hard worker who loved his family and home particularly working on his yard. He was dynamic, interesting, funny, responsible, loving and had a heart of gold. You were wise if you took his advice as he was so often right. He was a newspaper junky and an avid reader. He loved to travel, particularly to the South Pacific and Cook Islands, always meeting new people. Sadly missed by his wife Dale of 34 years, his 98 year old mother Anne, his son  Nick and daughter Zoe as well as many relatives including Shawn and dear friends including John and Debbie, Frank and Theresa, Burk and Claudia, Dennis and Rick. He was predeceased by his brother John and father Walter. Resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick for visitation in the Lampman Chapel on Tuesday August 27th from 7-9 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anns Catholic Church in Fenwick on Wednesday August 28th at 11:00 A.M. Cremation to follow.
