McINTOSH, LAURA HEATHER – passed away in her 24th year. Loving daughter of Jill and Rick McIntosh. Dear sister to Sara and her faithful sidekick Gem the dog. Laura will be sadly missed by her grandmother Shirley McIntosh, her aunts Charlene Donald (Michael), Joan Parsons (Len) and Jan Saunders. Also by her uncle David McIntosh and many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her grandparents Charles McIntosh, James and Jean Saunders and uncle Jim Saunders. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will be held in the LAMPMAN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick on Friday July 28th at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will be on Thursday July 27th from 7-9 P.M. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Niagara Regional Police Service and all the Volunteers and Friends who helped in the search for Laura.

RICHARD EYBEL

EYBEL, RICHARD – after a short battle with cancer passed away on July 24, 2017 at Shaver Hospital in his 88th year. Loving father of Sharon Ralph (Bob), Patricia Muench (Shayne) and Rick Eybel. Poppa to Rob (Amanda), Alysia (Mark), Victoria, Corry and Courtney. Great poppa to Gemini, Alexis, Carter, Hayden, Hailey, Ethan, Liam and Quinn. Richard is survived by his sister Shirley McInnis, brother William Eybel and brother in law Donald Fitzsimmons. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, brother Glenn and sister Ruth. Dick as he had been known to friends and family was born and raised on a farm in Effingham. He worked at G.M. as a tool setter and retired with our mom to Allenford where he farmed a couple acres of his eighty acre farm. You could always find him in the field or getting ready to go to the Keady Market. His passion was his farming and he was good at it. Resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick for Funeral Service in the LAMPMAN CHAPEL on Thursday July 27th at 11:00 A.M. Interment at North Pelham Cemetery to follow. Visitation will be Wednesday July 26th from 6-8 P.M. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Loving father of Mark (Sharon), David (Sharon) and Kathy Prantera (Joe). Dear grandfather to Jennifer (Stephen), Brent (Laura), Heather (Alex) and Vanessa. Bob is survived by his sister Betty Morris (Stan), and brother Brad (Mary Ann). Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday July 21st at 10:00 A.M. at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick. Interment of Ashes will take place at a later date. Suddenly on Friday June 30, 2017 William Thies of Fenwick in his 74th year. Loving husband to Alice. Loving father of Natalie Posthumus (Rob), George (Janis), Mary-Ann Hummel (Mike) and Emily Linde (Chris). Dearly beloved Opa to Julia, Taylor, Jade, William, Derrick, Sammy, Kahne, Jasmine, Sawyer, Beckham and Christina. William is survived by his sisters Mary Hobers (Jerry) and Jane Lottering and his brother John (Evelyn). Also by his sister in law Corrie Fabor (John) and several brothers and sisters in law in The Netherlands.Passing before William was his brother in law Harm Lottering. William was a dearly loved and respected Principal and teacher at Wellandport Christian School for 33 years. A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethany Christian Reformed Church in Fenwick on Wednesday July 5th at 1:00 P.M. Private interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Ridgeville prior to the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday July 4th at the church from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. On Tuesday June 6, 2017 Lillian Knisley (Beckett) passed away in her 94th year. She leaves behind daughters Sheila Beamer (Glenn), Shirley Junkin (Jack) and stepdaughter Sharon Tupper. Survived by sisters Carolyn Laughlin, Joyce Watson and grandchildren Shelley (Derek) Jacqualyn (Rich), Jeff (Laurie), Jason (Jody), Jenifer (Tom) and eight grandchildren. Pre-deceased by husband Ken in 2004 and Bill in 1998. Will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Born in Grantham Township, she served in the Women’s Army Corps in World War II. For many years she worked on the family farm and Mom enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Blake was born and lived all of his years on the family Century Farm in West Lincoln.
