Bossert Donald James – It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donald Bossert of Fenwick, Ontario on February 25, 2018 at Hamilton General Hospital in his 85th year. With his loving wife of 64 years, Jean (Sider) Bossert at his side, Don went to be with the Lord. Don was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He is lovingly remembered by his children Kathleen (Gordon) Lane, Barbara (Norman) Olsen, and Jeffrey (Brenda) Bossert. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Jennifer (Joshua) Bendlis, Amanda (Daniel) St. John, Monica (Jason) Wilson, Katelyn (Dylan) Colbert, Kevin (Tyla) Olsen, Thomas and Andrew Bossert, Ashley and Alex Goertzen along with 8 great grandchildren. Don is survived by his sisters Mary McNiven and Eileen (Howard) Traver and in laws Della Bossert, Marjorie (Ronald) Lofthouse, Mary (Carlton) Sider, Edith Sider Schell, Mary Jean and Shirley Sider. He will also be fondly remembered by his many friends and church family at Boyle B.I.C. Church. He was a retiree of Stelco, Welland where he worked for over 25 years, Visitation will be held on Sunday March 4th at Boyle B.I.C. Church from 2-5 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 5th at the church at 2:00 P.M. Donations to the Boyle B.I.C. Church would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick.
He will be missed but we have wonderful memories of a wonderful Uncle!
