Jeffs Evelyn
Passed away on Sunday October 6, 2019, 8 days before her 104th birthday. Predeceased by her husband Clive on June 1, 1980 and her grandson Edwin on August 4, 1993. Beloved mother to Peter (Dona) and Jim (Sandy). Grandmother to David (Monica), Rob (the late Joanne), Lauren (Scott), Brian, Michael (Melinda), Christopher, Jenna and Ashley (James). Great Grandmother to Mitchell, Emma, Aerial, Nelaya, Samuel, Ella, Amber, Gordie, Thomas, Hunter and Ashton. Evelyn and her husband Clive owned and operated Jeffs Drug Store at 95 Niagara Street, St.Catharines for many years. Visitation will be held at Lampmans Funeral Home 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick on Tuesday October 8th from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. The service will be held at Lampman Funeral Home on Wednesday October 9th at 11:00 A.M. with friends being received from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:A.M. After the service friends and family are welcome to join us for a luncheon at the Fenwick United church at 1050 Church Street. Private interment will follow. Instead of flowers memorial donations can be made to the charity of ones choice. The family extends their gratitude to Dr.Dooler, the VONs, Paramed nurses, Visiting Angels and Shorthills Villa PSWs for their compassionate care.
I am very sad for the loss of our Grandmother Evelyn Jeffs, who has made great efforts in the formation of a wonderful Jeffs family. Rest in peace. May her rest in light. May God give patience to all lovers.
My deepest sympathies
Thankful for the long life cousin Evelyn was given. Evelyn would be my second cousin and UEL descent. My mother, Laurena Jessie Williams, Evelyn’s first cousin. Family may remember me as Roberta Hose and I was at school the same time as Peter Jeffs. Hope the family continues to acknowlege the UEL heritage.
