Larry Roepke

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Larry Roepke at home on Wednesday February 26, 2025 at the age of 71. He will be greatly missed by his children Joshua (Yi), Jonathon (Yongqin), and Jesse. As well as his grandchildren Eli and Lydia, his sister Marylou Smith, brothers Gary and Rick, and sister Lori Roepke. Larry was predeceased by his father Harold (2018), mother Reta (1994), and brother Billy (1987).

Larry was born in Hamilton, Ontario on January 2nd, 1954. He grew up in Stoney Creek and later moved with his family to the Niagara Region in his late teens where he established his adult life. After retiring in 2009, he spent his time with friends and bowling. Larry was a long time 5-pin bowler. His passion for the sport extended beyond playing, as he spent many years coaching youth bowling. Through bowling, he formed lifelong friendships and found a true sense of community at Kingsway Lanes.

By his wishes Larry was cremated and a private celebration of life will occur at a later date.

Those who wish to honour his memory may donate to a charity of their choosing.

Arrangements entrusted to Lampman Funeral Home, Fenwick, ON.
