Phyllis will be sadly missed, she had a beautiful spirt & heart for all of her family.
She never missed a birthday or anniversary for all of her immediate family, & also her extended families.
She was always wearing an inviting smile for everyone she encountered, this is what made her the wonderful caring woman she was. God Bless you Phyllis & Rest in Pease!
Don and Sharon and family so sorry to read about your mothers passing . She was a very nice lady. Imeet her and you father years ago.
I first met Phyllis through her brother in law , Frank Svob, when i was in my mid twenties.
She was such a warm person always smiling laughing.
To her family i am sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.
What a rare temperament she had. Lucky those who knew her.
Dear Don,
I was sorry to read of your mother’s death. Losing your mother is like losing a large part of your past. Although I did not know her well, I do have a memory of her from 1974. When I first began to work at the Welland Public Library I often rode home from work with her. She was working at a doctor’s office (Dr. Snelling, I think?). I was living at home but did not yet drive, so this was very convenient for me. We had some good conversations in the car. I hope that all of the good conversations you had with her will give you comfort.
With sincere condolences,
Janet Hodgkins
