Dearest Pearl,
You and Roger have been in our minds and hearts constantly for these last few weeks, and our conversations have repeatedly returned to Roger’s lovely smile, his laugh that echoed everywhere and his unfailing ability to see the funny side of everything.
Life always seemed to be fun for him and it is our enduring hope that when this terrible sadness has faded, you, Kevin and Kim will be able to keep his memory alive with that same attitude; an attitude that always sees ‘the glass as half-full’ and life as well worth living.
“It’s time friends, time. For peace the spirit aches,
Day chases day, each passing moment rakes
Away a grain of life, and while we, you and I,
Would rather have lived on, lo, all at once we die.
Here happiness is not, but peace and freedom are.”
Alexander Pushkin.
Your Condolence

Pearl, Kim, and Kevin,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We are with you guys in spirit even if we are not there in person. I will always keep Roger in my thoughts as he always gave everyone who came around him kindness and humor. Many fond memories I am sure will be shared.
Love,

Even though we are far away Pearl our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We will miss Roger on Sunday mornings so much, loved his good humour, he could always make even the grumpiest laugh.
Love Jill and Bob
Pearl, Kevin, Kim and family,
Our hearts are with you at this difficult time. I will always remember summers at the cottage; time spent sitting around the picnic table, scratch tickets and blueberry pie. Roger’s laugh was contagious and his amazing sense of humour will be remembered by all. I’ll have to head over to Casino Rama and make a deposit in his honour. He will be missed.
