You could find him always working at something, usually a vehicle and he was forever helping others. Sam also loved spending his time camping. He worked at Ken’s Salvage for a few years before starting at General Motors where he retired after 30 years of service. Sam will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
The family would also like to recognize and sincerely thank the entire team of Dr’s and Nurses at the Walker Center and the 3B oncology unit at St, Catharines General Hospital. Sam was especially grateful to Nurse Binni for his devoted care and compassion.
All will be welcomed to visit Sam’s family on Friday March 15, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Lampman Funeral Home, 724 Canboro Rd, Fenwick. A service will take place at the Meridian Center Pelham Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11am, 100 Meridian Way Fonthill (Pelham Arena) followed by an interment at North Pelham Cemetery. Donations made in Sam’s name to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lampman Funeral Home.

Very sorry to learn of Sammy’s passing. Way back in the day we had fun working at the golf course and creating memories. Denise and family, I hope your memories help during this very difficult time. God speed Sam.
Had the pleasure of working with Sam back in the day at General Motors in the Sun Gear/Planet Pinion area, lots of fun/good times. Sam got us out of a few jams over the years with his mechanical background, great guy, good worker, I’m sure he’ll be missed

Mary , Carol , Hugh , Allen , My thoughts and prayers are with you when hearing of Sams passing. Many years have passed since I met your family in North Pelham back in the high school years. Sam was quite young during that time but he had the opportunity to grow up with a very loving and caring family. Based on the other on line condolences he will be definitely missed by both family and those having the pleasure of meeting him over the years.
