I was in Mr Thies’ first grade 7 class at Wellandport and had the privilege of having him as a teacher again in grade 8 and principal for my children. He truly was serving the Lord as a teacher and principal and I’m sure he will be missed. May God give you comfort and strength in the days ahead. Cherish your memories and the hope for the future. Till we meet again Mr. Thies.

  • Tante Ali and Family,
My Uncle Bill was someone who I always remember as the warmest, kindest man. I was really shy as a kid and he always made me comfortable. His smile was always huge. He was definitely the “Pied Piper” of kids and I saw that most recently at my mom and dad’s anniversary party where the little ones running around just gravitated to him. He was born to be a teacher, father, grandfather.

I cannot even imagine what you are going through right now, I hope you can find strength and comfort in the each other to get you through this very very sad time.
